This morning, David got up, showered, had breakfast, spotted a huge Pied Imperial Pigeon (aka Torres Strait Island pigeon) in Marjory's garden, then went back to bed.
I think the antibiotics are starting to work as he is no longer feverish and the chest cough is breaking up. But he's a sick fox and we won't be going anywhere for at least another day, maybe longer. From past experience, it takes David weeks to shake off the fatigue from something like this, so it's a bugger. We will just slowly head south now, stopping in to see Lindsey, Rob and Sharloe on the way, and aiming to arrive in Forster around the third week of November. Back to Canberra by 8 December.
Meanwhile, Marjory and I are just pottering around. We went to exercise class yesterday and might go to the shops later today, after she gets back from Poetry group.
