It's a real homebody that little sucker. It hides in the pockets of things you didn't wear when you went out, it lurks in cupboards, behind things so it can't be seen, and it loves to get itself flat in the batteries, or to leave its card stuck in the side of the computer. It's work-shy, that's its problem. or maybe it has agrophobia. Its not like we ask it to record awful things, just a few nice little snaps for the blog every day. Like that cluster of pelicans shuffling around on Mogareeka inlet on our bike ride this afternoon. Or that solitary, perfectly white heron that was stalking the reedbeds, in the slowest of slow motion, its reflection as bright and sharp as it was itself...The camera needs a bit of behaviour modification. Some cognitive behaviour therapy. It has a personality disorder.
You can tell I'm missing being able to therapise people, and I'm resorting to having to therapise things now. David's too well-adjusted to require any therapising, and all these caravan folk are so, well, relaxed! It's unnatural.
Today we continued the real estate research. It's very time consuming and boring to report on, so when there is any news, you will be the first to know. Off to bed with the cryptic crossword now. Goodnight!
There must be some material around to psycho-analyse? I would have thought the Tathra Pub may have had some candidates. But if the best that can be achieved is Pelicans or other wildlife one assumes the trip is working out.
ReplyDeleteThat camera of yours is probably the most recalcitrant machine known; it behaved so in Tasmania and now again in Tathra. Perhaps you need a Prb to go with it so that in an emergency the Prb can be activated, the SES will descend based on information from Canberra and the little beast can be rescued. Be prepared for a small bill.
