Overnight there was 186ml of rainfall. That's about a third of Canberra's yearly average. It simply poured with the donner and the blitzen, all night. We stayed reasonably dry in our expanda bed. Our plans to drive up to the nearby Eungella National Park which is quite mountainous, and camp there, were cancelled. This morning the park was awash and it kept raining on and off until the afternoon. So we had an inside day, except for a little drive to Caneland Central Shopping for some supplies. The only mildly interesting thing I can show you is this whopping locust, which has decided to live on the van wall outside.

I would have thought it was an extended Bunnings and Scrabble sort of day!
