Or your redbacks, like David did today.
But until today, we could see no good reason for the beach to be named "Diamond" Beach. But here they are, the diamonds, glittering points in the water when the sun is at a particular angle. The water was a lovely green-blue as well, maybe that accounts for "Emerald Drive" just down the road. Or maybe it's just that the whole place was named by someone with a gemstone fetish...
Anyway, we watched some surfers do their thing, and suddenly had the urge to rush out and buy boards and wetsuits. It's not too late is it?
Today we had a tour of the new house at 15 Vincent Close, across the road, courtesy of the builder, who may also be the builder we choose. Later, had lunch with Matt and Trisha, the principals of Swell Architects and they had four concept plans ready for us to look at. Exciting stuff! So the next few days will be a crucial time for us as we assimilate and process these ideas, and decide what to do next. Tomorrow, a bushwalk is planned.
