The route took us over picturesque Dingo Creek, spanned by a lovely old bridge in beautiful disrepair.
On return, we went for a swim at Diamond Beach.
There is a local art competition in the offing. David, Marjory and Peter are all getting creative.

Solid foundations
Solid foundations are today's theme. We all need them to withstand the vicissitudes of life and weather. And, here they are! Well, actually not solid yet, in fact soft enough to inscribe one's initials into.
This all happened today while we were having an excursion to Dingo Creek Rainforest Nursery at Bobin via Wingham, followed by a trip to the railway station to collect Peter, who has come to stay for a few days. The trip to Bobin is very pretty, very green and foresty.
Kim and Peter's nursery is a glorious conglomeration of plants and plantings. A moist delight. If you don't mind leeches. We calmly picked a few off eachother, taking our lead from Kim, who quite likes them. She has first hand experience of accidental leech therapy on an infected cut that cleared it up in a flash.
