I hate blowies
I don't know what it is, but the sound of a blowie in my house is very upsetting. I hate hearing them and knowing that they leave fly spots and maggots indoors. I have locked the unscreened laundry door and put the key away. I continue to ask patiently for screen doors to be closed. So far nothing is working. Every day I have to chase blowies around the house with a swatter or spray and there are always maggoty corpses to sweep up. Am I being unreasonable?

Most unreasonable - they are God's creatures. You need to live in Anatrctica where blowies are absent. Alternativley use secret methods (a bit like training dogs) to reward door closers.
