We are more and more keen on this area. If we end up moving here, this will be our local beach:
Nearby there is a lagoon and picnic area under trees, with beautiful old paperbarks, ducks, a forest walk, the works.
Let me tell you about the butcherbirds in the park where we are staying. They are bold, very bold.
Note to self: do not feed little squares of cheese to butcherbirds on the same table as you are playing scrabble with little squares of plastic.
The scrabble set is now minus one letter!
Scrabble set without a U is like a boat without a sail. I hope said birds enjoy making up words using the letter "U". U Ripper or U beaut or U bastard come to mind (the second component of the word would, of course, be by intimation rather than actually spelled out). I can see the "U" from my 1964 set will need to be jealously guarded.
ReplyDeleteI liked Black Head Beach scenes although the name is a bit off-putting. The next headland up the road (and in the distant view) could possibly be renamed "Julia" - I'll suggest it to Tony when Libs win the election.
Glad to hear we are not the only ones to have an impact on the Scrabble set! Heading north tomorrow to the Wooli environs, but not telling you exactly where as we don't want black balls
