We saw two whales!
In a thrilling first for me AND David, we saw two whales off Hawke's Head near Forster today. We were too excited to get a good shot, but here is one of them blowing. It breached and frolicked in a wildlife-documentary fashion, then after a few minutes just glided under the water and disappeared. What a treat!
At the campsite the birds are very bold. They know all about being hand fed and are not in the least camera shy. This is a baby butcher bird taking cheese from David.
And here it is, wanting to know why it can't have another bit. Because its not really very good for you, little bird.
David has officially put in his resignation from his School Leader position. A weight off his mind, and he seems to look more relaxed already.
This is Burgess Beach, near Forster in what is referred to as NSW's Great Lakes area.
Sheik Yerbootis sisters
Visited Ilonka and Peter's new house - lots of design ideas including this wonderful kitchen. Plus I got to have a go of their cat.
I just never get tired of sunset shots. This was taken at "The Recky" near Pacific Palms, Forster.
