Note to self - think before napping

When there are three artists in the house, it behooves one to think carefully about where one might take a nap. I lay down on the couch and closed my eyes this afternoon, and look what happened. A sketch by David.

And also,

(Marjory's)

(Peter's)

(David's)

We had a good day today. Marjory opened her parcel of new warm clothes from Linda

She put on the green pants and the hoodie and we all headed off to Vincent Close.

It has been raining a lot and the dam is very full. We decided to rename it: The Pond.

Late in the afternoon, the lorikeets come to roost in this tree just off our south facing terrace.  Competition for branch space must be hot because the racket has to be heard to be believed. Lorikeet shouting and chattering and cursing.  Then they all settle down until someone says something provocative and it all erupts again, accompanied by more flapping and jostling. In the morning they will spread out over the golf course and slurp up nectar off the banksias.
