It still feels a bit strange to be just us, no kids at home any more. So it was good to be in Canberra over the Christmas period and to see Lian, Mae and Julian and their partners as well as lovely little granddaughter Keliyah. David excelled with the feast: rolled stuffed pork roast with prunes, cooked on a bed of vegetables and served with silverbeet, a rich jus and also caramelised apple, hazelnuts, ground fennel. Lian and her partner Matt, being Melbourne foodies, set a high standard.

K's favourite colour is blue this year. She is wearing last year's Christmas dress I made
But she didn't seem enthused about this year's dress
We had to wait until the new year to see Wim and Akinyi, and also Lindsey and Sharloe. Still waiting for the pics of Sharloe in her Christmas dress...(hint)
