Work on the site begins

Thursday 16 February, 2012 marked the official start day for The Build. The surveyors came to our future residence , 13 Vincent Close, Diamond Beach and put in the pegs.

I was at work in Taree so I wasn't there to crack a champagne over the bows of the surveyor's vehicle, but David took lots of photos. So now there are these exciting little markers and so for the first time we can stand where our kitchen, lounge, bedroom and so forth will be. Later in the day after work we did just that, to see what we will be able to see.  It all looks good.

Smallish house on massive block = lots of gardening to keep us entertained.

Here's some Tallwoods gardening produce - this years' chili crop, doubling as a culinary art installation.
